WORK
I've put together a small sample of my work across the media of Photography, Audio, and Writing. Growth in my multimedia skills is of utmost importance to me as I finish up my degree in Journalism at Mercer University. To do that, I produce content involving Macon-Bibb county in both breaking news and community involvement.

WHY DATA LITERACY MATTERS: VIOLENT CRIME IN MIDDLE GEORGIA
This project was run in 2022 as an investigation into whether Macon-Bibb deserved its reputation as a dangerous and violent place. I ended up comparing its violent crime (specifically murder) per capita with Fulton and DeKalb counties as an examination of why data literacy matters.
MACON HOMELESS: TENSIONS IN DOWNTOWN
This project is a deeper dive into the systematic issues facing Macon and the homeless of middle Georgia.
The United Way was fundamental to helping us better reach and understand the issue of the unhoused and how downtown’s developments are inflaming those issues.
MACON BAGELS: CELEBRATING LOCAL BUSINESS
This piece is about a local business that started during the pandemic, and not only survived, but thrived, shooting onto the Macon restaurant scene and drawing a ton of attention for its creative sandwiches. with the Mercer Cluster, where I currently worked as the Managing Editor for the 2022-2023 school year, and later the Editor-in-Chief.
